Giuliana and Bill Rancic host Style Network’s aptly titled reality series Giuliana and Bill (the new season starts in early January). The couple shuttle between homes in Los Angeles and Chicago. Here, Giuliana shares their travel tips and highlights with USA TODAY’s Gary Strauss.
Q: What’s your favorite vacation spot?
A: We love Mexico for its close proximity to both L.A and Chicago and its incredible weather. When we want to escape and relax for the weekend, we head to the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. We fly into Puerto Vallarta and take a 45-minute car ride to the city of Punta Mita. The hotel’s customer service is outstanding and the white-sand swimmable beach is gorgeous. We were there a few weeks ago and the ocean was so calm and warm, it was like walking into a soothing bath. Bill loves water sports … jet skiing, spear fishing and surfing. I, on the other hand, like to run on the beautiful beach and then relax in the shaded beds reading my Kindle. If you have children, be sure to hit the resort’s lazy river pool. And take advantage of the complimentary magazines and sunscreen at the gorgeous infinity pool! We love this resort because it has something for the both of us.
